Cats
Lots of things have been happening since the end of June regarding our cats. We had two - Hermes (black) and Loki (orange) - seen here:

but we also introduced a new addition to our little family, a little white male kitten who we've named Zeus:

He's now three months old, our guestimation considering we rescued him as he was dumped off in front of my sister-in-law's Avondale Store. He's a holy terror, but a very affectionate little bugger as well.

Yesterday we also had Hermes have a wee visit with the Vet because of a growth on the back of his leg. It had started bleeding the other day, which concerned us - but the vet assured us it was not cancer or any other bad thing. It's actually a benign growth and something very rare in cats - a skin tag. The vet was actually giddy in discovering it because Hermes is the second cat she's known/seen in the 15 years of being a vet to have one.

So yeah - our cat has a rare, freaky skin tag. Go figure *shakes head, laughing* But, it's given us a lot of peace of mind now that we know what it is. We'll still keep an eye on it and it's no problem to have it lopped off if it becomes a problem for Hermes so that's good news as well.
